Mary Frances Attías: 'A Leap into the Void'
Based on true events, Mary Frances Attías has produced 'A Leap into the Void'. It is a short film about the cruelest form of violence: vicarious violence. (This type of violence is one whose objective is to harm women through their loved ones, especially their children, sometimes even causing their death). The story of the short film was co-authored by Mary Frances and Eudys Cordero (the general producer). In this issue, the Dominican Republic 'occupies one of the top positions in the region'. Mary Frances has a long creative history: photo exhibitions in art galleries, writings on interior design in Aldaba magazine... Now she enters the world of cinematography with a shocking subject. My recognition goes to her.
Artistic Photography at the Level of Paintings
Photographic art is having very high-quality exponents in Santo Domingo, to such an extent that in some homes, owners display artistic photos instead of paintings. An example appears in the latest issue of Aldaba magazine, an interior design and decoration publication, which presents photographic works by Ricardo Piantini that, when hung or leaned against residential walls, look like paintings. In this case, the frames perfectly complement the photographer's excellent work, while the interior design process is carried out by an architect and interior designer: Camila Bernini. In Aldaba magazine, you can see the surprising images that make you exclaim: It looks like a painting!
